Little Faith will Save You Too
O thou of little faith, wherefore didst
thou doubt? (Matthew 14, 31)
Why did you doubt? Don’t you know that faith is life; only with it you can defeat the world and yourself; all good, sincere, strong that you have comes from it. Man is weak without faith, he falls down without it. Have you forgotten, that faith is stronger than mind, stronger than heart, stronger than anything? Why did you doubt? Why did you leave that simple graceful faith, that inspired you the words: “You are the Christ. The Son of the Living God”? The truthful faith of the happy days of your youth, the faith, that lightened up the best minutes of your life?
And really, why some don’t have faith? Because modern science does not completely agree with faith? Or because those, blinded by self-gratification, considering their mind to be able to comprehend and measure the depth of Divine intentions, fooled themselves in their crazy hopes? Thou of little faith,
Nevertheless, give glory to God, because even little faith is faith anyway and it is stronger than the waves of sea, stronger than devil and his angels. You finally turned yourself to Christ in danger. Your broken heart laid your last hope on Him. Give glory to God, because your faith saved you!
