Another Story
Here is another story from the same book by the same author, Sergey Nilus. He put actually 3 stories together to show the contrast between people's deaths. One of a layman, a young man with a strong but hiddend faith, another one (the one I am posing below) is about a sinner who repented, and the third one is a story about a father and a son, very sad story.

When God so willed to transfer me from the place where I grew up to St.Petersburg first and then to a blessed place near Novgorod, called Valdai, my wife and I met a local priest, who became our confessor. And once during a confession he said to my wife:
