Who Do You Believe In?

And he sought to see Jesus who he was (Lk.19, 3)

In this wish to see Jesus and know Who He is, we can put the basis for the change of all of our life. Every one of us needs to answer this question: Who is the Lord Jesus Christ for me in every circumstance of my life? Which place does the Savior take in my heart? Do I firmly know “Whom we have believed” (2 Tim.1, 12)? Or the greatest news of His everlasting love did not penetrate deeply into my soul but barely touched it? The one who is bought “with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot” (1 Pet.1, 19) does not belong to himself any longer.

Which place does Christ take in your home? Do all members of your family, and all those that know you, feel that the highest power belongs to Him, to our Savior, that everything in your house is full of His Spirit, everything is in accordance with His law? Do you realize His power to wash and cleanse you from the sin that has overcome you? Do you leave all of your big and small decisions up to Him? Does everyone notice that in your communication with those around you, you always seek His help? Do they see a reflection of the everlasting love of God in your humbleness, in your sincere caring for others, in your selflessness? Do they feel the spirit of Christ in you? Are you ready to  help everyone, to cheer them up, to console, despite your personal likes or dislikes? When someone is asking you for help, do you remember what Apostle Peter replied to those who came for his help: “the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting” (Acts 11, 12)? Are you ready to go with anyone, whom God sends to you, submitting yourself to His will, not your own?
