Cry To The Lord
The Lord is near to all who call upon Him (Ps.144, 18)
Out of the depths I have cried to You, o Lord (Ps.129, 1)
Whenever you feel like drowned in abyss of doubt and sin, seeking in vain a ray of light – call to the very Lord Jesus Christ and He’ll hear! Go to Him, to the very Source if Water of Life. Why look for consolation and support from earthly creatures when you can obtain it from the Creator Himself? Let’s go to Him and call to Him from the very depth of our desperation; let us be calling day and night, unceasingly, tirelessly, out of abyss of our powerlessness to His Almightiness.
Everyone of us has the right to «come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need» (Heb.4, 16). This grace if given to everyone, to the weakest, to the greatest sinner, to the most faulty. Because “the Lord is near to all who call upon Him» (Ps.144, 18), and when «they cry at all to Him, He will surely hear their cry» (Ex.22, 23)
