Christ Will Help

He Himself hath suffered being tempted (Heb.2, 18)

Whether we are bothered by temptations, or disturbed by doubts, let us go to the One, Who “hath suffered being tempted and able to succour them that are tempted”. Let us come to Him with all the depressing thoughts, that we are ashamed of and hate; those thoughts that we would never be able to tell to anyone, butd will tell to the One, Who can help, because He was tempted Himself.

With a deep feeling of repentance, acknowledging our sins, let us come to Jesus, Who did “not come to call the righteous , but sinners to repentance” (Mt.9, 13). Let us not wait, not delay even for a minute, let us go right now, pour our souls before Him, cry all of our tears out before Him, let us love Him much, so that much will be forgiven to us (Lk.7, 47).

Then all of our doubts will disappear, we will defeat the temptation, and Lord  “will make us to increase  and abound in love one toward another… to establish our hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints” (1 Thess.3, 12-13)
