Day-by-Day. June 28th (15th)
Let Christ Abide in You
I am among you as he that serveth (Lk.22, 27)
His service continues even now. Even now He girds up His loins to wash our feet. Again and again He offers His Holy Body for us to eat and a cup of His Holy Blood for us to drink. He carries our sufferings. Fulfilling the will of His Father, He diminishes His own will, so that the Father, Who abides in Him, would work through Him.

“Ye are Christ’s” (1 Cor.3, 23). Let us remember Who we belong to and let us fulfill His will. Let Christ, not ourselves, abide in us. He sacrificed everything, even sacrificed Himself, in order to complete His Father’s will.
Let us also not spare anything, neither stop before any kind of sacrifice, so that one day we would hear Him saying to us: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant!.. enter thou into the joy of thy Lord” (Mt.25, 21).
