To Minister
The Son of man came not to be ministered unto,
but to minister (Mt.20, 28)
Whole life of Christ is in these words: “not to be ministered unto, but to minister”. He did not come to receive, but to give, to minister to the whole mankind. To do good, to forget Himself completely, to minister to anyone. And, finally, “to give His life ransom for many”.

You say you want to be like Christ, you pray His image to be reflected in your hearts. Here it is, His image is within a reach for everyone. “Minister” – this is what is required. You don’t need seclusion, you don’t need to run away from people, but instead, remaining amongst them, minister to them, bless them, do good to them, and, if necessary, give them your life.
