Look with the Eyes of Faith

Father, I will that they also, whim thou hast given me,

be with me where I am (Jn.17, 24)

Nobody and nothing vanishes with the God. Those dear to us, who departed to Him, are completely safe and unharmed with Him. Features of the beloved face, imprinted in the depths of our heart, rise before us many years after, as a live image of the one, who was stolen by death from us. When we become like them, then the mysteries of  eternal life will be revealed to us. Lord will accept us and unite us with those, who we were missing dearly on earth.  Then, in the eternal bliss, we will forget about all the earthly sorrows.

Cheer up all you poor laborers, fainting under the weight of your heavy burden. Go on bravely on your path, the hour of redemption will come soon for you. Lay your hope only onto the One, Who knows better when to say to you: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy Lord” (Mt.25, 21) Look with the eyes of faith at your beloved ones, who are resting from their labors and are waiting for you in your Heavenly Fatherland, where the Lord has prepared a space for you too, so that you were where He is.

A few more days of labor and sorrow and you will unite forever with those you are mourning about. You will unite with them there, where there will be no more fear, tears, sin or separation and where Christ will be everything for everyone unto the ages of ages and where you will be comforted with an unshakable and true comfort.
