We Are Not Going To Die

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me
shall never die. Believest thou this? (Jn.11, 26)

Yes, my Lord, I do believe this – and I will never die. When my soul parts with my body, it will only seem like death, because my soul will never part with God, and there will be no such death, that Christ saved us from, by saving us from the most evil enemy, born by sin. “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death” (1 Cor.15, 26) We believe this, firmly and undoubtedly, because who shall be able to separate us from the love of God?  (Rom.8, 39)

We are members of the Body of Christ, we belong to Him, we are united for ever. He will not let us from His hand. How can we die if the Spirit of God is within us? Life, given by God, can not be separated from Him - the Source of Life. Christ Himself is our life, our redemption and our righteousness, so that we, washed from sin and sanctified, would become prepared for the Kingdom of Heaven, where “unrighteous shall not inherit it” (1 Cor. 6, 11) Looking at Him, we rush ahead, knowing without a shadow of a doubt, that our souls will not perish. Redeemed by the Holy Blood of Christ, having died in Him for sin, they will come alive in Him for the eternal life, for the eternal bliss.
